Commonwealth Games Society announces inclusion of
weightlifting for athletes with disabilities at the 2002
Commonwealth Games in Manchester. Currently
out-of-retirement and in training for this event - July
2002. If all goes to plan this will act as a "closing of
the circle" for my athletic career, ending where it all
began in the north west of England.
